How this number is worked out

45 road deaths × 0.83 crash reduction × ( 1,000 the whole Tesla fleet ÷ 360K vehicles ) = 0.1 lives / year

Because FSD is blocked here, the calculation uses the whole 1,000-car fleet: this is what Cyprus is currently giving up, not what it is getting. Who decides

Cyprus has not recognised the Dutch type approval. As an EU member it could recognise it tomorrow, as six other members already have — or wait for the bloc-wide vote.
